Hi, my name is Sami. I'm a cartoonist & illustrator based in Toronto. My work has appeared in Best American Comics, Vice, The Globe and Mail, CBC Arts, NOW Magazine and Broken Pencil. I received a Doug Wright Award in 2018 for my story The Dead Father and again in 2022 for my book The Pleasure of the Text. In 2024 I received an Ignatz Award for my story The Happy Art.
